Ansible and Puppet Support

By Fabien Potencier, on May 05, 2015

Blackfire is packaged for many different platforms, and we also maintain an official Chef recipe (as we are using it at Blackfire). But what if you are more into Puppet or Ansible? Well, our great community worked on some solutions.

If you are using Ansible, have a look at the role created by Abdoul N’Diaye; it is available onAnsible Galaxy, and the code is hosted on Github.

What about Puppet? Sergey Novikov created a Puppet module for Blackfire.

Last, but not the least, PuPHPet is a great way to create Vagrant virtual machines for Web development. It provides a simple GUI to help you configure your machine and it uses Puppet behind the scene to set up everything. PuPHPet also recently added support for Blackfire.
