Blackfire on the GitHub Marketplace

By Christophe Dujarric, on May 22, 2017

Deprecation Notice: Blackfire is currently no longer available via the GitHub Marketplace. The closest subscription level to the one which was available is Blackfire Premium.

As the result of an amazing, long-lasting collaboration, GitHub invited Blackfire to be part of small selection of partners to be present on their new GitHub Marketplace on day one.

Introducing GitHub Marketplace!

GitHub is used (and loved) by more than 21 million developers all over the world – working together on 58 million projects. The GitHub platform has become a central point for many Git-based development workflows, by enabling efficient software development processes and collaboration, but also by integrating with other relevant tools that are used in developer workflows and in the development lifecycle.

On Monday 22nd May, GitHub is getting to a whole new level with the launch of GitHub Marketplace.

GitHub Marketplace is a new way to discover and purchase tools that extend your workflow. Unified billing through GitHub Marketplace is available for more than a dozen providers today. Start using new tools without setting up multiple accounts or payment methods.

Blackfire on the GitHub Marketplace

For an optimal Blackfire on GitHub experience, we didn’t want to just provide you an option to get a unified billing for Blackfire + GitHub. We created a new, special Edition: Blackfire Premium for GitHub.

What’s so special about it? You already know that beyond profiling, Blackfire is a powerful PHP performance testing tool, which can be added to your continuous integration/continuous deployment workflow no matter which tools and process you are using. Blackfire Premium however limited these capacities to Periodic Builds and e-mail notifications. In order to take full advantage of the integration with GitHub, Blackfire Premium for GitHub now includes build webhooks and GitHub notifications.

Please note that if you are already subscribed to Blackfire Profiler or Premium via the Blackfire.io site, you will first need to cancel your current subscription to get one via GitHub.

Happy profiling and testing with GitHub and Blackfire,
