Merging accounts on Blackfire

Ending the multiple accounts confusion is now possible.

Signing up to Blackfire happens exclusively via Oauth connections, from either Google accounts, GitHub accounts, or SensioLabsConnect accounts.

One less set of login/password to remember!

The thing is, many of us have several of those accounts. And their primary email address isn’t necessarily the same. And everytime you try to login with an account which has an unregistered email address in our databases, we create a new account. Meaning that a lot of us end up having several accounts!

Sometimes it’s handy, and sometimes it’s a UX nightmare. “What? My Organization has no active subscription? But I’m supposed to be subscribed to Premium!”, “Where are my profiles?”.

From now on, you can simply decide to merge your multiple accounts into one.

  1. Go to https://blackfire.io/account
  2. Scroll down to Emails
  3. Add email address
  4. Complete the merging process over email confirmation
