Sponsoring Open Source Projects
Blackfire is proud to support some Open Source projects with donations and free subscriptions.
Blackfire finds deep roots in Open Source Projects, being initiated by Fabien Potencier, creator of Symfony. We are grateful to all individuals who build great software that benefit to entire communities, for free.
In the PHP world, GitHub counts nearly 40k public repositories at the time of writing, Symfony is downloaded 40 million times per month, and Packagist.org reports over 137 million installs for sebastianbergmann/phpunit!
Open Source projects provide amazing foundations for so many communities and business across technologies. And they exist because people and companies contribute to it. Even the smallest commit to an Open Source repository, may it be a typo fix, has some value. And donations can help maintainers focus more of their time on the projects’ development.
Blackfire is proud to support some Open Source projects, including Symfony, Sylius, Doctrine, PHPStan, whoops, Twig, SwiftMailer. They all contribute to making high quality and fast web applications! Beyond donations, Blackfire also offers its support with free subscriptions for those projects, for even faster applications!

We are really happy to start an official collaboration with Blackfire. Seeing the app in action in our own projects made us true performance profiling enthusiast. In fact, we’ve already learned a lot and still learning using this amazing app. What is more, Blackfire actively supports other great Open Source projects, helping them thrive. It’s a pleasure to be among them. I highly recommend Blackfire not only to Open Source projects seeking for core code improvements, but also for all commercial projects based on PHP. Can’t wait to see how cooperation flourishes in the future.
