Welcoming Diana Arnos in the Blackfire team

Blackfire is a remote-first company. We’re thrilled to welcome our first employee from Latin America: Diana Arnos, Software Engineer.

Introducing Diana

Diana Arnos is a software architect and developer, speaker (recently at SymfonyLive São Paulo and SymfonyCon Lisbon), specialized in PHP and web development, evangelist for PHPSP and PHPWomen (PHP user groups in Brazil).

She believes that knowledge should be shared and therefore actively participates in the developer community, developing content such as workshops, lectures, talks, articles and contributing to open source. Most recently at phpMG conference.

She is also vocalist of NoWay, a Heavy Metal band with 2 albums released, and is dedicated to the study and practice of Kung Fu through Ving Tsun.

Why Joining Blackfire?

I joined Blackfire because it is a company I’ve always admired, not only for the people who work there (which I admit I’m a big fan of) but also for being closely involved with the PHP language and Symfony framework ecosystems, which I love very much and with which I love to work. Besides, it’s an incredible opportunity to dedicate myself on developing tools to analyze and improve the performance of web applications, a subject that I really like.
