After being its voice for the last few years, I recently became Blackfire’s new Product Manager. On that journey, I have one goal: to build the best Continuous Observability solution for decoupled PHP and Python applications with you.

Blackfire has always empowered developers to understand their applications’ performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize their code efficiently. We want to put developers in the driver’s seat by being able to make informed decisions.

But building a great product isn’t just about our vision; it’s about making sure we solve the correct problems correctly for the people who use Blackfire daily.

One of the best ways to collaborate is through our Discord server—the heart of our user community. Whether you’re an experienced Blackfire user or just getting started, we want to hear from you.

Share your feedback, request new features, discuss pain points, or drop in to chat about how you use Blackfire in your workflow.

What we’re exploring

Right now, we’re actively looking into:

  • Reducing friction and solving paper cuts: A paper cut is a minor but recurring usability issue that accumulates to degrade user experience. Help us track and solve them all!
  • Improving overall visibility of the performance of a decoupled application: What could help you better understand and prioritize performance-related work on a decoupled application?

Your input directly shapes our roadmap, and many of the features we develop come from conversations with users like you.

Your voice matters

The best products are built in partnership with their users, and we want Blackfire to be no different. Whether it’s a minor tweak that would improve your day-to-day experience or a big idea that could redefine how Blackfire works, we want to know about it.

So, what’s on your mind? Join us on Discord and help shape the future of Blackfire!
