Get Drupal 8 performance recommendations when profiling with Blackfire

By Christophe Dujarric, on Mar 09, 2017

EvolvingWeb has been an amazing Blackfire Solution Partner. If you’re from North America and Canada, you might already have attended one of the many sessions and meetups where they explained how to use Blackfire in order to improve your Drupal site’s performance.

But they’ve done much better than that. They contributed to Blackfire, spreading their expertise of Drupal 8 performance management to the community, by creating Drupal 8-specific metrics and performance recommendations. Dave Vasilevsky has been hard at work to define a set of best practices which cover a wide spectrum, from SQL to DB, entities management and coping with the thousands of PHP files of a Drupal 8 project.

How to benefit from it? You just need to profile your Drupal 8 app. If you’re a Hack user, you can always start the Premium Trial in order to discover the performance recommendations feature.

Happy Drupal 8 profiling,
