Our products are meant to make developers’ lives easier. As a product manager, this is exactly what you’ll contribute to achieve, either by accompanying customers from their first contact with the service to fine tuning of their implementation, or by designing new features based on their feedback.
Who better than a developer can achieve this? In order to fully understand the users’ problem, and act as a coach to help them apply new best practices and improve their toolchain and workflow, we need someone who has been a (PHP) developer.
Of course you’ll need to be comfortable with talking to people, online and “in real life”, to be customer-focused, and to be ready to work with a team of passionate individuals spread across the globe (SensioLabs works as a distributed team!).
