Quanta Monitoring integration

Blackfire is a tool which helps developers find performance bottlenecks and fix them by getting detailed insight on their code’s behavior. That can be done “ad-hoc” with profiling requests, or more pro-actively with performance testing and automations. The nicest part of those automations is to get other tools which you already use to trigger Blackfire tests, whether it is your CI or any tools able to raise alerts when an issue arises.

Quanta Monitoring is a performance monitoring tool which focuses on eCommerce. It shows business/marketing teams how much money they lose on performance, across the conversion funnel. It also provides high level optimization recommendations and qualifies the Return On Investment for each of them. And of course you can be alerted if anything’s wrong with your performance or conversion.

Quanta is great for business and marketing teams as they provide really understandable and actionnable data, but as soon as they pass the information on to their development team, Blackfire.io show much more details on the code. It also provides a wide variety of metrics and recommendations to optimize the code performance quickly. Those on Magento were defined together with Magento Commerce and our Partner network of Magento experts.

Quanta alerts can now trigger Blackfire to run performance builds, so that when an issue arises, you both get the alert and visibility on the exact code behavior at that moment. Blackfire is also able to send the build results back to Quanta, so that you can view a marker in your Quanta dashboard and navigate to Blackfire’s build report easily.
