Early Microsoft Windows Support (experimental)
Blackfire support for the Windows platform is improving.
By Fabien Potencier, on Apr 13, 2015 Even if most websites are deployed on Linux systems, a lot of developers work on a Mac or on a Windows machine for their day-to-day work. So, a few weeks ago, we started to work on Windows support, and we’ve just finished the first step.
The PHP extension is not available on Windows yet, but we’ve just released an alpha version of the Blackfire’s command line utilities. The agent is probably not that useful on a Windows machine without the C extension, but the CLI tool allows Windows users to profile websites on remote machines and to upload profiles generated by tools like XHProf, Xdebug, or any tools able to generate a callgrind output.
Test it out and tell us if you find any problems.
