Introducing the Development and Production Plans

By Thomas di Luccio, on Dec 07, 2022

At Blackfire, we like to make things straightforward and efficient. With the addition of many features along the years,  including Blackfire’s APM, our profiler-focused plans needed an update

We are glad to announce that we are introducing two new plans that are replacing the existing ones: The Development and Production plans.

If you plan on using Blackfire in production, then the Production plan is for you. If not, you should use the Development one.

The Production Plan

The Production plan gives you access to all Blackfire features needed to manage the performance of your applications in production: Monitoring, Alerts, Profiler, Automation, and Integrations with CI/CD pipelines. It provides you with all the tools you need to set up a complete Observability Strategy.

The Production plan contains 1 Blackfire Environment, 3 seats, and 1 million monthly Monitoring traces. More can be purchased as an option. It is also available on a Monthly or Yearly billing (with 20% discount).

The Development Plan

The Development plan provides 1 developer with Blackfire Profiler for 1 local environment. More seats can be purchased as an option.

The Development plan is the go-to option for getting started and local performance optimization works.

The Addons

Addons provide extensive sets of recommendations and specific features, easing even more your performance optimization work.

The Quality and Security addons are included in the Production plan and can be added to the Development plan. The Debug and Magento addons can be added to both plans, as they were before.

What If I want to change now?

If you are an existing customer, you can enroll in the new plans by going to your Organization Billing Setting page.

What if I don’t want to change?

Nothing will change if you are an existing customer and want to stick with your existing plan. Your Profiler/Premium/Enterprise plan keeps being available as long as you are renewing your subscription.
