Blackfire.io and Platform.sh now share one, unified Privacy Policy
Continued use of Blackfire after December 12, 2022 will be subject to the unified Privacy Policy
When Platform.sh acquired Blackfire.io back in July of 2021, our two teams were dedicated to working together to align our overall posture and practices. This included reviewing and merging our existing policies and processes, and in particular, our privacy policy.
Initially, we merged Blackfire’s Privacy Policy into Platform.sh’s Privacy Policy with minimal adjustments. But now we’re ready to remove the Blackfire Privacy Policy entirely and unite Platform and Blackfire customers under one umbrella. In fact, our Platform.sh Privacy Policy is more comprehensive and detailed, ensuring our customers are fully informed on how we handle their personal data. It also includes all of the rights under Blackfire’s Privacy Policy already, ensuring that this is the most logical choice moving forward together for our customers and us.
What does this mean for Blackfire.io customers?
As detailed in our recent Platform.sh blog post, nothing changes for users and visitors (collectively, “customers”) of Blackfire.io. You retain all the rights you currently have.
To ensure you remain well informed, you will receive an email in the near future explaining the removal of the Blackfire Privacy Policy. Alongside the link to our Platform.sh’s Privacy Policy where you can view the full details on the policy.
All we need is for you to review the Platform.sh Privacy Policy and make sure you agree with the terms. This is very important as your continued use of the Blackfire.io service after December 12, 2022 date will be subject to the unified Privacy Policy. As always, please feel free to contact us at https://platform.sh/contact or https://support.blackfire.platform.sh/ with any questions or feedback.
